 and within reach.\n\nThis body of work “I am your king’’ and “You 
 are the light of tomorrow’’ revisits those early imaginings and the qu
 iet distance that forms over time between who we thought we would become a
 nd who we are today.\n\nThrough textured surfaces and symbolic figures\,th
 e paintings reflect stories of\n\nstruggle\,imagination\,beauty\,dignity a
 nd becoming.It is an invitation to reflect on where I come from and what I
  carry to stand in that space between dreams and\n\nreality\,and recognize
