  Cap\, in partnership with the Ukrainian Association of South Africa (UAZ
 A)\, invites you to a special evening of culture\, memory and solidarity m
 arking 35 years since Ukraine restored its independence.\n💃 The evening
  will open with a live contemporary dance performance by the lead dancers
  from the award-winning production The Forest\, inspired by Lesya Ukraink
 a’s celebrated Forest Song and bringing together Ukrainian heritage an
 d South African artistic expression.\n🎬 This will be followed by a scre
 ening of Kherson: Human Safari\, a 72-minute documentary directed and pro
 duced by war correspondent Zarina Zabrisky. Filmed in the frontline city 
 of Kherson\, the film combines personal testimonies and original footage d
 ocumenting the invasion\, occupation\, liberation and continuing violence 
 experienced by its residents.\nJoin us in celebrating Ukrainian culture an
 d honouring the courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people in their de
 fence of freedom\, sovereignty and democracy.
