📽️ About the film:

Touda dreams of becoming a Cheikha, a traditional Moroccan artist who sings, without modesty or censorship, songs of resistance, love, and emancipation passed down through generations. Performing every night in the bars of her small provincial town under the gaze of men, Touda holds on to the hope of a better future for herself and her son. Abused and humiliated, she decides to leave everything behind in search of a new life in the lights of Casablanca.
