Exhibition opening: Colours of Soul
We are happy to announce our June exhibition: Colours of Soul.
Two complimentary bodies of work by Joviale N Muaka, a Congolese prophetic artist and Hannah Yason, a British born contemplative artist both based in Cape Town.
The works of Joviale N Muaka and Hannah Yason celebrate the idea of the artist as a channel. They appreciate that they are able to connect to Source in their artistic process. Both artists view their art as a bridge between the spiritual world and our earthly existence. Not only do both artists embrace colour and implement an abstract style but every painting holds a profound message or insight. It is through their deep connection within that both artists are able to relate profoundly to their audience. Each artists’ work is an expression of their spiritual journey and pays homage to the interconnectedness of everything.
By embracing their vulnerability and authentic expression they believe that their work is universal.
