Way of The Light is a collection of stories told through the sonic lense of composer, improviser and educator, Tumi Pheko – Trumpeter and Band Leader.
It’s narrations focus on the idiosyncratic experiences of a generation birthed by the mentally enslaved and nurtured by the conqueror.
It engages on themes including the connections and disconnections that occur as a result of seeking safety and acceptance in conditions that are the least conducive.

The aim is to facilitate healing while also serving as a reminder that love and freedom are the Way of The Light.
