Sar La Rouge is a Franco-Togolese digital artist whose practice explores identity, feminism, and belonging through photography, collage, and emerging technologies. Working between France and Africa, particularly Cape Town, she draws from personal archives, cultural symbols, and political references to construct layered visual narratives.
Two key series structure this body of work. Pink Power series – the Soft Rebelion – addresses internalised forms of silencing and inherited expectations imposed on women, using subtle visual metaphors. Lady’s Narratives – Politics of Silence – responds through direct language and visible acts of resistance, reclaiming voice and presence in public space.

Presented through modular digital collages and physical prints, Sar La Rouge’s work moves from observation to assertion, offering a portrait of hybrid identity that is fluid, complex, and continuously evolving.
