5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Where

Alliance Française du Cap
155 Loop Street, , Cape Town (CBD) , Western Cape, 8001

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, L’Entraide du Cap invites the French community in Cape Town to a roundtable discussion in French, exploring how we can better understand, recognise and respond to violence against women.

Bringing together perspectives from legal, social, psychological and community professionals, the discussion will address the challenges women may face while living abroad, highlight available support services, and explore the role of employers and communities in recognising and responding to violence. The roundtable will be followed by an exchange with the audience.

All participants will receive a free practical guide in French and English, where possible, featuring warning signs, advice on how to respond, local support organisations and emergency contacts.

Join us for an important conversation about awareness, support and collective responsibility.

Venue: Alliance Française du Cap, 155 Loop Street, Cape Town
Entrance fee: R100 per person. All proceeds will be donated to a South African organisation.

Payment is due at the entrance. Card payments will be accepted.
