Generations in Jazz

Get ready for an evening of South African jazz as legendary vocalist Thembi Mtshali-Jones and award-winning guitarist Bheki Khoza take the stage for a special live performance.

Joined by Zwide Ndwandwe on bass and musical direction, Skhumbuzo Mhlalui on drums, Nkosinathi Matomela on keyboard and Shaw Komori on trumpet, the musicians bring together different generations of talent for a musical journey through the sounds and stories that continue to shape South African music.

Rooted in musical heritage and the influence of those who came before us, this performance revisits and reimagines sounds from the past, connecting them with the music of today.

Venue: Alliance Française du Cap, 155 Loop Street, Cape Town

Delicious food will be available to order on-site, and a cashless bar will be available.
