Cap Impro Festival
A full day of theatre, improvisation, laughter and connection!
For its first edition, the Cap Impro Festival brings together improvisers from Cape Town and Johannesburg for a day filled with workshops, games, performances and unexpected stories.
Start the day with improvisation workshops for children aged 10–15 and adults, followed by a fun family improvisation session. No previous theatre or improvisation experience is needed.
In the afternoon, head to the Alliance Française du Cap for Beyond the Words, an English-language workshop exploring how we communicate and create stories beyond words, through movement, expression, rhythm and connection.
The evening continues with a participatory cabaret, followed by the Grand Cabaret, bringing together Les Improbables de Cape Town and Les Agités de Johannesburg for an evening where nothing is scripted and anything can happen.

The festival is organised by Cape Town Accueil with Les Improbables, and supported by the STAFE grant from the Consulate General of France in Cape Town, with the support of the Alliance Française du Cap.
