Akashia: A Ritual Performance

On 9 October, Alliance Française du Cap presents Akashia, a ritual performance born from the encounter between South African healer-musician Gershan Lombard and French artist Clara van Or.

Through music, movement and storytelling, the performance draws on the symbolism of the acacia as a messenger and a portal to ancestral wisdom. Audiences are invited into an immersive experience exploring sound, movement and the connections between South African and French artistic practices.
