Exhibition: Dix-moi dix mots (Tell Me Ten Words)

Tell me ten words is a francophone awareness campaign to promote the French language and the Francophonie. This operation invites everyone to play and express themselves in a literary and/or artistic form, around ten words chosen each year by the various French-speaking partners: France, Belgium, Quebec, Switzerland and the International Organization of Francophonie (representing 88 states and governments).

“année-lumière, avant-jour, dare-dare, déjà-vu, hivernage, lambiner, plus-que-parfait, rythmer, synchrone, tic-tac” are the words chosen this year.

The “Tell me ten words” operation offers the possibility of creating social ties in a territory by involving in projects pedagogical, artistic and/or playful for very varied populations who are sometimes distant from cultural practices. It is in this context that the artist Mokanse offers this comic book and illustration exhibition “Tell me ten words” in partnership with the Alliance Française.
