About Muneeb Hermans:
A proud son of Cape Town, Muneeb Hermans began his musical journey in the vibrant Cape Minstrel tradition before pursuing formal jazz studies at the University of Cape Town. Today, he is a renowned trumpeter who has graced stages across the globe, including the UK, France, China, Seychelles, Spain, and the iconic Carnegie Hall in the USA.

Muneeb’s career boasts performances at South Africa’s major jazz festivals such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Festival, and Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival. His collaborations include work with celebrated artists like Caiphus Semenya, Errol Dyers, and Marcus Wyatt, as well as participation in international projects such as the EFG London Jazz Festival and the France-South Africa initiative Big Time.

In 2020, Muneeb and his quintet captivated audiences at the Virtual National Arts Festival, earning a standout performance award. His debut album, One for HP, is a testament to his extraordinary talent and is now available on all digital platforms.
